OUR SERVICE COMMITMENT

Opua Marine Refits is the first marine organisation in New Zealand to offer a service commitment and proceedure to you the customer.

In the very unlikely event of unsatisfactory sales or service in our organisation, the customer involved will explain their concerns and views to an independent representative of Opua Marine Refits. He or she will then work with both parties to find an agreeable solution.

Titan Sailmakers: New sails, Sail Repair and Canvas Repair

Whilst we build a wide range of sails, our core business is providing top quality blue water cruising sails and associated canvas work. The majority of our staff are experienced ocean sailors themselves and are therefore able to fully appreciate and understand your specific needs. We are agents for 'North Sails'

NEW SAILS

At Titan we apply the same attention to detail no matter how large or small the boat, whether racing or cruising. Where possible we will:
• Measure your boats rig
• Set up characteristics
• Discuss with you your personal preferences.

We use a wide selection of cloth from Contender, Dimension Polyant, Bainbridge and Challenge. All our sails are designed and cut in house with the exception of spinnakers & asymmetric which are designed and built by North Sails NZ. Although we build a wide range of sails, our core business providing top quality blue water cruising sails.

SAIL REPAIRS

We repair all sails no matter how large or small and will, if required, give you an honest appraisal of your sail prior to carrying out repairs. If you have sails or canvas for repair we will come and collect them by dinghy and can return them to you (in Opua).
